New Guernsey Evacuee Heritage Project in Bury, Lancashire

I am still working with local archives to collect the stories of Guernsey evacuees who came to England during the Second World War.
I worked with Joanne Fitton of Bury Archives to collect Guernsey evacuee stories from that area. We produced a film available on DVD, to tell the story and show what we discovered during the project. We also held an event at Ramsbottom Heritage Library and Gallery

If you were evacuated from Guernsey to England in 1940, or have any other information that you feel may interest me regarding the Guernsey Evacuation, please contact me via the ‘comments’ book at the foot of this page.
